Buyer in the Fashion Industry

The purpose of this program is to provide students with the knowledge and information
required to carry out the tasks, activities and responsibilities of buyers in
the fashion industry. It prepares students to present collections,
follow-up on orders and deliveries, provide purchasing advice and
seek new suppliers. It also prepares them to participate in industry
shows and fairs that take place during market weeks throughout
the year. In some instances, graduates may be
called upon to provide design input.

Furthermore, this program helps students manage
the daily stress involved in attaining precise
objectives and satisfying demanding
clients.
 

 

This program is geared towards those wishing to begin or reorient their careers in the fashion industry, specifically in marketing or buying. The program is also suitable for people who are already working in fashion, but are either seeking a promotion or wish to become buyers in the industry.
